Parents across the province can access quality urgent pediatric medical advice after hours — from 5 pm to 11 pm seven days a week — and it is free for families, covered by the Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan. This platform, staffed by pediatric emergency physicians, allows us to provide care and reassurance to parents without them having to leave home — not just for their convenience, but to help limit the spread of COVID-19. If in-person care is needed, we will direct them accordingly.
