“Fear not, I am with you; be not dismayed; I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, and uphold you with my right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

School Counselling

School counsellors are here to support both students and parents. We help students build strategies and coping skills to manage the challenges they may face. Our role is to promote students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being while also providing academic support. This support may include school-wide or classroom presentations, small group counselling, conflict resolution, or short-term individual counselling sessions. If a student requires more in-depth or ongoing therapy, we encourage families to connect with an outside counsellor or Alberta Health Services for additional support.

The school counsellors are Ms Mary Kate Kelly and Mr. Jordan Koopmans. Students may self-refer for counselling supports, as well, school staff and parents can also request support services for their student.

Referrals can be made in person, by phone (403-314-1449) or by email.
