School Counselling

School counsellors offer support for students and parents. We provide students with strategies and coping skills for concerns they are struggling with. We support the social, emotional and mental-wellness of students along with providing academic support. This is done through school and class presentations, small group counselling or conflict resolution and short- term individualized counselling sessions. However, if a student requires therapy, we will encourage the referral to an outside counsellor or Alberta Health Services.

The school counsellors are Ms MaryKate Kelly and Mr. Jordan Koopmans. Students may self refer for counselling supports, as well, school staff and parents can also request support services for their student.

Referrals can be made in person, by phone (403-314-1449) or by email.
