All students leaving the school during school hours must be signed out by a parent/guardian at the office. This also includes students leaving for lunch.

Student Sign In/Out Procedure

Leaving School During the Day
All students leaving the school—whether for lunch or other appointments—must be signed out by a parent or guardian at the office. For safety reasons, office staff must see the person picking up the student in person.

To keep this process smooth and safe:

  • No need to call ahead.
  • Please arrive a few minutes early and come into the office to sign your child out using the Student Sign In/Out Computer.
  • After signing out, you may return to your vehicle while we call your child to the office. This helps keep the office running smoothly and respects student privacy.
  • Please be patient, as students may be in PE, Construction, or other areas where they may not immediately see or hear the message.

Arriving Late or Returning During the Day

  • All students arriving late must check in at the office.

  • Students should scan their Student ID or use the Student Sign In/Out Computer.

  • Parents are not required to accompany their child into the office in these cases.

If Someone Other Than a Parent/Guardian Will Pick Up Your Child

  • Please email the attendance line or call the office with the name and phone number of the person picking up your child.

  • Do not leave this information on voicemail, as these messages may not be checked in time.

We appreciate your support in helping us ensure the safety of all students and in helping these procedures run smoothly for our busy office staff. Working together, we can make every day safe, caring, and efficient for our school community.
